About the Role

Cloud architects design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. They develop expertise in services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Set up ECS/EKS clusters, configure deployments, and implement performance-based scaling using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Data Security: Configure roles, policies, and user groups using AWS IAM; set up RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and manage intranet user access.
  • Network Configuration: Utilize services like VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Create pipelines using Bitbucket/GitHub and familiarize yourself with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze costs and optimize resources using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for granular insights.
  • Environment Monitoring: Monitor AWS environments using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document SOPs, create knowledge bases, and maintain technical documentation while effectively communicating with the team.
Requirements
  • Cloud Architecture Experience: Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in languages used for cloud computing, such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Data Security Knowledge: Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing secure configurations.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
