About the Job

We have an urgent job opening with Axisiacades for the position of Piping Stress Engineer in Chennai . This role involves performing thermal stress analysis, vibration assessments, and compliance checks to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review Thermal Design Basis documents
  • Develop Critical Line Lists and Stress Packages
  • Conduct Thermal Stress Analysis for process plants and pipelines using Caesar-II
  • Perform Nozzle Pro analysis and WRC checks
  • Generate preliminary and final load data
  • Conduct flange leakage checks and trunnion support evaluations
  • Select and mark pipe supports from standards and prepare special pipe support sketches
  • Develop spring support schedules, expansion bellow schedules, and material requisitions (MRs)
  • Complete and deliver stress analysis packages as per client/customer requirements
