Communications leaders play a pivotal role in shaping an organization's narrative and influencing stakeholder perceptions. The Head of Public Relations is responsible for developing and executing long-term communication strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Communication Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to enhance our reputation, build brand awareness, and foster stakeholder engagement.
    • Craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, leveraging data-driven insights to inform messaging and maximize impact.
  • Media Relations Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with local and international media outlets, ensuring consistent and accurate coverage of our achievements, projects, and corporate activities.
    • Optimize media outreach efforts to amplify our message, capitalize on emerging trends, and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Crisis Communication:
    • Develop robust crisis communication plans to mitigate risks to our reputation, ensuring preparedness for potential crises and rapid response capabilities.
    • Lead proactive communication initiatives to pre-empt and address potential issues, maintaining transparency and trust with stakeholders.
  • Internal Communication:
    • Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure seamless information flow within the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration and open dialogue.
    • Leverage employee ambassadors to promote our values, mission, and goals, driving engagement and motivation across the organization.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Communication:
    • Manage CSR communication initiatives to highlight our contributions to society, promoting sustainability and social responsibility practices that enhance our corporate reputation.
    • Promote community outreach programs, volunteer opportunities, and philanthropic endeavors that demonstrate our commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Content Development & Quality Assurance:
    • Oversight of high-quality content creation for press releases, newsletters, reports, and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to communication standards.
    • Implement quality control measures to guarantee exceptional content, engaging storytelling, and effective message delivery across all channels.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate communication, public relations, or media relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
