Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to lead our cloud security initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring scalable, automated, and secure deployments across AWS and GCP environments.

About the Role:

This position requires expertise and guidance on cloud and network security for programs such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Cloud Application Architectures.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud security architecture and design.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and SMEs to deliver complete and secure architecture solutions.
  • Lead cloud security initiatives by designing, developing, and delivering scalable Terraform modules.
  • Build automation workflows and tools using Terraform and Golang to improve deployment efficiency and consistency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate network security configurations and deployments.
  • Monitor, optimize, and improve reusable patterns and modules for network security.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of overall experience in data center, cloud, and networking.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • 3+ years of experience in Terraform (with proven module design and delivery experience).
  • Hands-on experience in Golang for automation and tooling development.
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced networking in public cloud.
  • Strong understanding of classical and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Knowledge of security configuration management, container security, endpoint security, and secrets management in cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, proxy infrastructure, and programs that support secure network access and enablement.
