As the chief academic officer of a degree college, you will provide visionary leadership to ensure excellence in education, maintain discipline, and foster holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Leadership
    • Develop strategic curricula, innovative teaching methodologies, and academic plans that align with higher education guidelines.
    • Promote research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students through collaborative initiatives.
  • Administration & Governance
    • Manage day-to-day operations, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations effectively.
    • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of faculty and staff to ensure high standards.
    • Maintain a culture of discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution.
  • Quality & Accreditation
    • Drive accreditation processes for quality enhancement, leveraging best practices from peer institutions.
    • Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives in academics and infrastructure to enhance student experience.
  • Student Development
    • Foster extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities that promote holistic growth.
    • Ensure effective student support systems, including mentorship, counseling, and career guidance services.
  • Industry & Community Engagement
    • Cultivate partnerships with industry, universities, and research organizations to enhance academic programs.
    • Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs to create a network of supporters.
  • Financial & Resource Management
    • Optimize budget allocation, resource utilization, and financial planning to achieve institutional goals.
    • Oversee infrastructure development and maintenance to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Qualifications & Experience
    • Master's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
    • Ph.D. degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
    • Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership role.
