Key Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of the Quality Assurance Specialist revolves around ensuring the product meets established standards of quality, encompassing reliability, usability, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the product for functional correctness, GUI aesthetic appeal, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain close collaboration with developers to report/troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
  • Design and develop tools for streamlined test management, execution, and reporting processes

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in testing web and windows-based applications, with a strong emphasis on technical proficiency
  • Prior hands-on experience in performance testing, including stress testing and load testing methodologies
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File Server, and SQL is advantageous

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Atlassian products, particularly XRAY, would be beneficial
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results
