Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Expert to join our organization in India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network security and a proven track record of implementing security measures to safeguard our company's network infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust network solutions to secure sensitive data and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Maintain vigilant monitoring of network traffic for unusual activity and respond promptly to security incidents.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats to the network.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other departments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technological advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in network security or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for documentation and collaboration with team members.
