Key Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for preparing various menu items according to provided recipes and photos.
  • Assigned a station in the galley by the Executive Chef, which can be changed to familiarize with different tasks.
  • In charge of some production.
  • Work on day or night shift, depending on operational needs.
  • Set up displays as needed.
  • Assist with transporting food items from main stores to galley when assigned.
  • Clean and sanitize working area and utensils following Public Health rules and regulations at all times.
  • Occasionally assigned to early standby in galley for USPH purposes.
  • Aware of and/or acquire knowledge to comply with standard operation, assist guests and crew members with inquiries.
  • Attend meetings, training activities, courses, and work-related activities as required.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum two years' experience as Cook in upscale hotel, resort, or convention banqueting service (experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and equipment use.
  • High school completion or basic education equivalency requirement.

To excel in this role, you should have strong organizational and time management skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts.
