We are seeking a skilled automation professional to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java with proven hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver. Additionally, they should have framework design & development experience, mobile automation expertise, API testing & automation knowledge, and experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Java with proven hands-on in Selenium WebDriver
- Framework design & development experience (Page Object Model, Hybrid, Data-driven, etc.)
- Mobile Automation expertise (Appium or similar)
- API Testing & Automation (RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools)
- CBTA (Component-Based Test Automation) knowledge and practical usage
- Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Good understanding of STLC and ability to support functional/manual testing teams
- Proficiency in test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Good to Have (Preferred):
- Exposure to Playwright, TestCafe or other modern automation tools
- Experience with POS system automation
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and testing microservices/containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of automation testing principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
