Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and succession planning to ensure the unit has a skilled workforce.
- Manage workforce planning, including identifying key competencies and skill gaps in the forging and machining sectors.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment by ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and engagement among employees.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and facilitate labor negotiations as needed.
- Implement employee wellness programs and initiatives to improve morale and reduce turnover.
- Training and Development:
- Develop training programs and workshops for employees to improve their skills in machining, forging processes, safety, and quality control.
- Support continuous learning and development initiatives to keep the workforce current with technological advancements and industry best practices.
- Health & Safety:
- Partner with the EHS team to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and protocols.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement by training employees and fostering awareness of best safety practices.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives, to ensure competitiveness in the industry.
- HR Administration:
- Oversee HR operations, including personnel record management, HR reporting, and data analytics.
- Manage HR software and tools to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 10+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (forging, machining, or related sectors).
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 certification standards and experience with the implementation and auditing process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compensation, benefits, and workplace safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software, MS Office, and data analytics.
