Job Description
  • We are looking for an EHS Head to oversee the implementation of our EHS management system across all project sites and cluster offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS and at least 20-25 years of experience in implementing EHS systems.
  • The successful candidate will ensure Zero harm at all levels and monitor the level of implementation of our EHS Management System.
Responsibilities

The EHS Head will be responsible for:

  • Comprehensive administration of the BU EHS Department.
  • Technical involvement with Operation Segment Heads for establishing the company EHS policy and cardinal rules.
  • Coordination with Country/EHS Managers to provide training, guidance, support, and SOPs.
  • Review of SOPs for erection works in consultation with Operations and review of SOPs periodically.
  • Accountability for reporting incident rates to the BU Head, Head Operations, EHS Head (PT&D IC Domestic), and SBG Head.
  • Incident investigation using proven procedures and submission of CAPA based on the investigation.
  • Review of weekly EHS progress reports for their respective BUs.
  • Conducting weekly meetings with Country EHSM/CEHSOs for analyzing safety statistics and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
  • Conducting monthly EHS meetings with BUH/COH and providing updates on EHS implementation at sites.
  • Approval of all EHS statistics and incident reports.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) with DIS/ADIS/PDIS/NICMAR/NEBOSH/IOSH from RLI or CLI.
  • Lead auditor certification for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Minimum experience of 20-25 years in implementing EHS systems in transmission line/substation/manufacturing projects.
