Key Role in Cloud Deployment

The OpenShift Deployment Engineer plays a pivotal role in architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions using OpenShift.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement OpenShift clusters with optimal performance, scalability, and high availability to meet business objectives
  • Deploy and configure OpenShift clusters in alignment with organizational requirements
  • Implement robust security measures for OpenShift, encompassing identity management, access controls, and container image security best practices
  • Ensure adherence to stringent security standards and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and optimize solution delivery
  • Develop comprehensive documentation on OpenShift configurations and best practices to support knowledge sharing and expertise development
  • Provide expert guidance and handholding support to Operations teams to ensure seamless solution implementation

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their application in real-world scenarios
  • Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud environments and their strategic implications
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or equivalent certifications demonstrating expertise
