Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Data Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 4+ years of experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based data architectures.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable real-time and batch processing workflows using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark. They will also perform data pre-processing tasks, including cleaning, transformation, deduplication, normalization, encoding, and scaling.

This position requires strong technical skills in ETL/ELT pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable data processing.

The successful candidate will collaborate with automation teams, data scientists, and engineers to provide clean, structured data for AI/ML models.

  • Design and maintain cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.
  • Deploy and optimize data solutions on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from IoT, MES, SCADA, LIMS, and ERP systems.
  • Automate data workflows using CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines for high availability and reliability.
