EDI Specialist Job Opportunity

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) specialist is responsible for creating and modifying EDI translation maps, verifying mapping through unit testing and trial runs, preparing documentation, performing customer EDI and communication setups, coordinating changes with business partners and external parties, troubleshooting EDI issues, providing support to our business partners and external parties, and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation.

This role requires a strong understanding of EDI standards, including ANSI X.12, as well as experience with XML and JSON. Familiarity with Azure DevOps Agile/Scrum platform and large, complex enterprise environments is also preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and modify EDI translation maps according to specifications
  • Verify mapping through unit testing and trial runs
  • Prepare documentation
  • Perform customer EDI and communication setups
  • Coordinate changes with business partners and external parties
  • Troubleshoot EDI issues
  • Provide support to our business partners and external parties
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of practical EDI development experience
  • Experience with ANSI X.12 required
  • Experience with XML and JSON preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Agile/Scrum platform preferred
  • Experience in large, complex enterprise environments preferred
