The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to high-quality research, and capable of contributing to academic development and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Financial Derivatives, Financial Modeling, and related areas.
- Design syllabi, develop teaching content, and use innovative pedagogy.
- Guide students in projects, internships, and dissertations.
- Engage in high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum development, and academic planning.
- Mentor students on academic, career, and research pursuits.
- Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and industry interactions.
- Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy and research projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized university/institution is mandatory.
- 1–3 years of experience in teaching, research, or relevant industry roles.
- Proven record of research publications in reputed journals.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with teaching tools and financial software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Bloomberg, etc.).
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to FinTech, Financial Analytics, or Sustainable Finance.
- Experience in handling case-based teaching and real-world financial simulations.
- Ability to engage students using contemporary teaching methods.
- Interest in interdisciplinary teaching and research collaborations.
- Capability to attract research funding and industry projects.
