Job Description
  • A talented individual with a strong background in building services engineering is sought after to fill the position of Principal Designer MEP - BIM.

We are looking for an accomplished professional to lead our team and contribute their expertise in modeling, measurement, coordination, and digitalization using various software and plugins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development of building services systems models, including mechanical and public health installations in Microstation Connect and Open Buildings Designer (OBD).
  • Accurate measurements from existing PDF/CAD drawings and/or 3D Microstation/OBD models.
  • Cross-disciplinary coordination with building services, structural, and architectural teams.
  • Reporting to the manager/engineer in charge and performing assigned tasks.
  • Digital model monitoring and clash detection report generation.
  • BIM management and digitalization using different software and plugins.
  • Clash detection using Solibri software to inform the design team.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our REC UK department, you will collaborate with a close-knit team of building services engineers based in the UK and India.
  • Working across multiple sectors, from world-class commercial developments to landmark tall buildings, you will contribute to projects that make a difference.
