Job Description:

The primary responsibility for this role is to support pre-sales engineering for Security System global projects, adhering to country-specific standards. This includes basic knowledge about bill of material preparation and cost estimation to come up with competitive bids, following processes, maintaining required quality standards, and ensuring on-time deliveries to satisfy customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project inputs and specifications to capture the scope and understand the complete requirements of the project.
  • Review MEP drawings, specification, SOP, and identify equipment related to Security System (Access, Video, Intrusion, Complete ELV system, etc.).
  • Participate in project kick-off/review meetings with technical queries, compliance/deviations log, risk logs, and record minutes of meeting.
  • Adhere to standard estimation process and guideline to select proper combinations of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services to come up with the optimum budget.
  • Create bills of material, selecting Backend, Controllers, Field Devices, Software Identification, Network connection, Cable Type, and Length Calculations related to Security System- CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion.
  • Prepare Costing Sheets including Preliminaries and other costs, Cost comparison charts, Checklists, Technical Write-ups, Block Diagrams, Deviation Charts, etc.
  • Evaluate quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner to prevent affecting project delivery schedules; any escalations regarding scope creep must be clearly backed up with evidence.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team members to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills to bridge the gap.
  • Maintain operational parameters at desired levels for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure timesheet compliance for self and team entries.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly customer reporting for project progress.
  • Actively participate in organizational employee engagement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BE/ME in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
  • Strong knowledge of Security Systems (Access, Video, Intrusion, Complete ELV system, etc.).
  • Expertise in Security Guidelines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Blue Beam.
  • Familiarity with different network protocols like BACNet, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols.
  • Able to demonstrate good leadership skills.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 to 12 years of relevant experience in Security System (CCTV, Intrusion, Access Control system).
