Software Verification Engineer

Mission Statement:

  • Hands-on experience in verification of software for medical and health products throughout the entire design life cycle.
  • Skilled in analyzing requirements, assessing early whether they are testable or not.
  • Must have hands-on experience in writing verification plans, protocols, testing, and generating verification results/reports.
  • Have hands-on experience with standards like IEC, review applicable requirements, and execute pre-compliance and formal compliance tests with internal teams and external labs.
  • Have good knowledge of the software development life cycle process according to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.
  • Identify issues from verification, log them in tools like JIRA or ClearQuest, drive defect control boards, review with cross-functional teams, and verify resolutions.
  • Must have experience in verifying embedded firmware/software.
  • Have experience in software reliability demonstrations and automation testing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to bring best practices.
  • Working experience in ventilator, anesthesia, or dialysis machine products is an advantage.
