Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Netrix Global.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling accounts. You will be responsible for upholding critical processes including accounts payable bill entry and vendor statement reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and reconcile daily A/P payments and credit memos as needed
  • Run monthly reports as required
  • Enter vendor invoices for payment into Bill.com, Stampli or Sage/Intacct
  • Compare vendor bills to purchase orders, prices, terms of payments and other pertinent details
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Review monthly accrual for month end close
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of related experience including accounts payable or accounts receivable
  • Experience in information technology services is highly desired
  • Proficient in MS office and data entry; working knowledge of ERP software is a plus
  • Comfortable with mathematics and financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail
