Compliance & Risk Manager

The Compliance & Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's compliance programs, managing external certifications, and ensuring security governance across the entire organization.

We seek an experienced professional with a strong background in audits, policy management, risk assessment, and fraud risk in payment products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance.

  • Audit & Certification Management:
    • Lead SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other relevant audits to ensure seamless compliance.
    • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and certification bodies to maintain open communication channels.
    • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and evidence for review purposes.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
    • Respond promptly to customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests to build trust and confidence.
    • Review and support Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) to ensure alignment with industry standards.
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with data protection and privacy regulations through regular reviews and updates.
  • Security Governance & Policy Management:
    • Develop, update, and enforce information security and compliance policies to safeguard organizational assets.
    • Drive company-wide security awareness and compliance training programs to foster a culture of compliance.
    • Monitor adherence to internal controls and compliance frameworks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk & Fraud Management:
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments across business units and products to identify potential vulnerabilities.
    • Identify and mitigate fraud risks in payment products through proactive measures.
    • Apply AI/ML-driven techniques for fraud detection, anomaly identification, and transaction monitoring to stay ahead of threats.
  • AI & Automation in Compliance:
    • Evaluate and implement AI-based tools for compliance monitoring, document reviews, and reporting to increase efficiency.
    • Leverage AI to automate repetitive compliance tasks such as customer questionnaires and policy reviews.
    • Drive innovation in security operations through intelligent automation to improve overall performance.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external auditors/customers to facilitate communication.
    • Provide regular compliance and risk reporting to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
