Job Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and conducting risk assessments.

  • The Compliance Specialist will monitor, interpret, and implement RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory guidelines relevant to the business.
  • They will ensure timely filings and reporting to regulators.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor regulatory guidelines and ensure adherence to them.
  • Ensure that all compliance-related tasks are completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities.

Compliance Monitoring & Risk Assessment:

  • Conduct regular internal reviews and compliance risk assessments.
  • Identify process gaps and propose corrective actions.
  • Track remediation of compliance issues and ensure timely closure.

Policy & Documentation:

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for internal compliance controls.
  • Educate internal teams on compliance obligations through training and awareness programs.

Audit & Reporting:

  • Support internal, statutory, and regulatory audits.
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as a point of contact for compliance queries across departments.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure organization-wide compliance.
  • Provide inputs on compliance risks during product and process development.

Requirements

  • CA (Inter), CS, MBA (Finance)
  • 2–4 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or risk management, preferably in NBFC, fintech, or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of RBI, SEBI, FEMA, AML, and other financial regulations.
  • Experience with compliance monitoring tools and MS Excel-based reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
