We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), executing test iterations, tracking and reporting test results, and troubleshooting and coordinating bug fixes.

As part of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our products, contributing to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features.

You will also design and deliver thoughtfully crafted REST APIs, interfaces, and database schemas to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software following good architecture and design principles
  • Contribute to test automation within an agile team
  • Participate in and contribute actively to architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and postmortems
  • Document changes and guides for the applications

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in hands-on coding
  • Experience in NodeJS, Typescript/Javascript
  • Comfortable with sql and Nosql database technology: e.g. MySql/Postgresql, MongoDB/Dynamodb
  • Foundation-level knowledge and programming experience with fintech lending is a bonus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex technical environment
