Job Title: Water Infrastructure Specialist

">Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing water supply and distribution systems, including pipelines, pumps, treatment facilities, and storage reservoirs.

You will also design wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal systems, including sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and sewer networks.

Additionally, you will prepare detailed engineering designs, including technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Your expertise in multidisciplinary teams will be essential in integrating water and wastewater systems with other civil, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design water supply and distribution systems, including pipelines, pumps, treatment facilities, and storage reservoirs.
  • Design wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal systems, including sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and sewer networks.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, including technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water and wastewater systems with other civil, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, including design, planning, and project management.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD).
  • Strong understanding of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, treatment processes, and infrastructure design.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and hydrological analysis methods, including pressure, flow, and stormwater modeling.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to water and wastewater systems.
