Java Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, web development, and distributed systems.

  • BS or MS degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Java, with a focus on web development and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Maven, JUnit, and other popular Java frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building scalable web applications using Java.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a core member of an agile team, driving user story analysis and elaboration, designing and developing responsive web applications.
  • Performing hands-on software development, including writing code, unit tests, and conducting code reviews.
  • Developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Managing own time and working well both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Git, API Gateway, Microservices, Postman, Spring Boot, JUNIT, Maven, Selenium Testing Automation, Swagger, Java Microservices
