Cloud Architect Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team.

About the Role

This role will involve designing, implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS technologies. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles and best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving AWS service issues, managing AWS services, designing building and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms. They will also provide technical expertise on cloud adoption migration and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development testing and production environments
  • Manages AWS services working with internal service groups as required to ensure system availability meets project requirements
  • Designing building and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms AWS
  • Providing guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption migration and optimization
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities
  • Provide technical support on AWS-related issues monitor solutions and implement appropriate strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification AWS SysOps Administrator Certification Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience including API Gateway S3 ECS EKS Fargate EC2 Lambda WAF and CloudTrail
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience on cloud architecture patterns design principles and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an outsourced managed services environment with some client-facing responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Gerrit Confluence Artifactory Jenkins and other DevOps tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Local and Wide area networking technologies
