We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agribusiness Coordinator to join our team. As an Agribusiness Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the training of farmers and project staff in agribusiness management.
Key Responsibilities:- Capacity Building: Develop and implement capacity building programs for farmers and project staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in agribusiness management.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify crops with high market value and develop strategies to increase sales.
- Communication: Build and maintain effective communication structures to keep project staff and partners updated on their roles and responsibilities.
- Project Coordination: Ensure that project activities are completed within the proposed timeline and budget.
- Collaboration: Work with procurement units to obtain agribusiness inputs and services.
- Training: Collaborate with project service providers to offer training on commodity standards and post-harvest handling and storage.
- Mentorship: Support coaching and mentorship activities for youth-led businesses.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a professional degree in agriculture or a related field and at least 0-6 years of experience in agribusiness coordination. The role is full-time and based in India with occasional work from home opportunities.
