About the Job
The successful candidate will join our Pune-based Software Delivery Center and participate in requirement analysis, configuration, testing, delivery of payment solutions based on a J2EE Payments Product (AvantGard Trax) along with creating valuable project and practice documentation.

What You Will Be Doing
You will work in a dedicated project team and be involved in a project from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working end-to-end on upgrade projects to bring our existing clients on older Trax versions to the latest Trax version.
  • Building an understanding of the product on a technical and functional level, understanding the context of our clients, participating in solution design, testing activities, and delivering solutions that address business needs of our clients.
  • Working with PS consultants and clients to understand client business, their drivers, implementing upgrades, and addressing functional scope and requirements.
  • Identifying requirement gaps and functional risks in the upgrade.
  • Constructing an upgrade backlog accurately identifying all functional gaps between customer implementation and base product version.
  • Reconfiguring customer-specific functionality on upgraded versions.
  • Evaluating client test data and/or engineer test data for use throughout the upgrade.
  • Driving all phases of test execution and documentation including functional, regression, usability, and acceptance testing.
  • Participating in SCRUM rituals within your team.
  • Working closely with developers for better understanding of technical aspects of Trax configuration and tools.
  • Delivering working solutions to our clients.

Additional Responsibilities
In addition to these tasks, you will play a vital role in designing and managing information systems, analyzing and tracking data needed to facilitate upgrade projects, and other related tasks. This includes conducting analysis, developing information artifacts, collecting, calculating, and checking information, devising solutions to implement information management processes, generating accurate reports, and communicating with personnel across departments.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop in-depth understanding of business procedures.
  • Fluency in English language and good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge in Finance and Payments domain.
  • Customer interfacing experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with test automation is an asset.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals within assigned time.
  • Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible, and good time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and good team player.
  • Will to work in/build an Agile environment.
