Job Title: Senior Data Engineering Specialist

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a senior data engineering specialist and contribute your expertise to the development of our cutting-edge data pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data processing systems using modern data technologies.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet their needs.
  • Your experience in working with big data platforms such as Snowflake and Airflow will be instrumental in shaping our data architecture and ensuring seamless data flow across various systems.
  • As a seasoned professional, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Extensive experience (4+ years) in developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with DBT and other technologies of the modern data stack, including Apache Airflow, Fivetran, and Looker.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to write efficient queries that optimize data retrieval and processing.
  • Experience in agile processes, such as Scrum, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
