Data Intelligence Specialist Role Summary:
The organization seeks a Data Intelligence Specialist to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee management and maintenance of data collection tools used across departments
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs)
- Administer and optimize the SQL database on Microsoft Azure
- Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows
- Implement and maintain data quality controls
- Manage special data projects as the organization expands into new areas
Business Intelligence & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools
- Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights
- Present findings and insights to internal teams and stakeholders
- Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect program status
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools)
- Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus)
- Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design)
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis
