This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring DIRECTOR/SCRIPT INTERN to contribute their skills and knowledge to the project. The ideal candidate will be passionate about filmmaking, research, and storytelling within the science and technology domain.
- Assist the Director in daily project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
- Support the development of English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
- Conduct background research on space initiatives, history, and related topics to enrich the script.
- Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution.
- Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding to enhance the visual storytelling approach.
- Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Film school student / recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films.
- Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
- Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
