Junior Pharmacist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Medication Accuracy: The Junior Pharmacist will ensure that prescription medications are dispensed accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Order Management: The candidate will manage orders, store medications safely, and maintain an adequate supply of medicines at all times.
  • Monitoring Prescription Information: The Junior Pharmacist will review prescription information for potential drug interactions or adverse effects.
  • Patient Education: The ideal candidate will provide patients with relevant information about their medications, including side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage, as well as suggest interventions if required.
  • Financial Transactions: The Junior Pharmacist will collect payments from sales and deposit them responsibly.
  • Safety and Hygiene: The candidate will maintain safety, hygiene, and adequate temperature in the pharmacy, adhering to SOPs and regulatory directions.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Pharmacy or a related field is required.
  • Licensure: The Junior Pharmacist must be licensed to practice in the state where the pharmacy is located.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
