Process Optimization Specialist

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in payroll processing and a solid understanding of APAC payroll laws. They should be proficient in using ERP systems, particularly SAP, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.



  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing, and entering data utilizing the UKGPro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of payroll cycles, including inputs and outputs, to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll data.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely processing of payroll data.
  • Provide analysis and reporting as required and assigned by management, focusing on enhancing payroll operations and improving employee experience.
  • Collaborate with payroll colleagues, human resources, benefits, compensation, finance, and technology teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient payroll processing.
  • Perform year-end W-2 processing, balance sheet account reconciliation support, and other tasks as assigned by management to maintain accurate payroll records.

Requirements:
  • Relevant years of payroll experience with a focus on APAC regions.
  • Solid understanding of APAC payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems, preferably SAP, to streamline payroll operations.
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
  • Customer-focused approach with effective verbal and written communication skills to provide exceptional employee experience.
