As a specialist in IoT data engineering, you will have the opportunity to design and implement scalable data solutions leveraging AWS services.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Python programming language. You will work with large-scale IoT data ingestion, processing, and storage architectures.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT data with analytics and monitoring platforms. Your key goal is to ensure data quality, reliability, and security in IoT data workflows.

To achieve this, you will stay updated with the latest AWS IoT and data engineering technologies and best practices.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable IoT data pipelines using AWS services.
  • Writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code for data processing tasks.
  • Maintaining system reliability by monitoring and troubleshooting data ingestion and processing issues.
  • Optimizing data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Implementing security best practices for IoT data handling and storage.
  • Documenting solutions and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
