About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architect to join our team at FIS. As an IT Security Architect, you will be responsible for executing security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing programs.

Responsibilities
  • Execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing programs.
  • Research attempted efforts to compromise security protocol and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain security systems and administer security policies to control access to systems.
  • Maintain company firewall and utilize applicable encryption methods.
  • Create information security documentation related to work area and complete requests in accordance with company requirements.
  • Respond to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
  • Resolve and/or perform follow through to resolve all information security issues and questions.
  • Implement and administer information security controls using software and vendor security systems.
  • Identify opportunities and execute plans to improve workflow and understand and quantify business impacts of those improvements for communication to management.
  • Interface with user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them. Ensure that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
  • Provide status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control), security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.), network design and engineering. You should also have proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills, planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities and schedules, basic to intermediate decision-making and problem solving skills, and basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
