Lead Nucleic Acid Chemistry Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nucleic Acid Chemistry Expert to lead our oligo synthesis and analytics efforts. As a PhD-level professional, you will play a central role in delivering precision-driven solutions in genomics and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Oligo Synthesis and Purification: Run and troubleshoot automated solid-phase synthesis (detritylation–oxidation cycles), scale synthesis to mmol level (coupling efficiency >99%), purify (HPLC, PAGE, CE) and characterize (LC-MS, UV-Vis, MS) oligos.
  • Laboratory Management: Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety, and SOPs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive method development and QC initiatives across teams.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. + 2–5 yrs in oligo synthesis and analysis.
  • Strong Foundation in Phosphoramidite Chemistry, purification, analytics.
  • Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
