Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in NLP to develop and deploy AI and machine learning models that drive business insights and decision-making.

As a key member of the data science group, you will be responsible for integrating state-of-the-art language processing models and algorithms to extract insights from large volumes of text data. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using NLP techniques.

You will mentor and guide other team members, providing technical support and expertise. Additionally, you will present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries to build, train, and deploy NLP models. Experience integrating solutions within AWS and/or GCP is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and apply state-of-the-art language processing models and algorithms to extract insights from large volumes of text data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using NLP techniques
  • Mentor and guide other team members, providing technical support and expertise

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or information science
  • Master's Degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or information science (preferred)

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes
  • Professional work experience in utilizing machine learning frameworks and libraries to build, train, and deploy NLP models
  • Experience integrating solutions within AWS and/or GCP and leveraging services provided by AWS and/or GCP

Skills:

  • Strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset
  • Additional languages (preferred)
