Content Editor for NASCAR Team

We are seeking an experienced content editor to join our editorial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for verifying statistical data and facts, proofreading, and enhancing content quality before publication.

Your role will involve actively editing and publishing articles daily, proofreading to ensure no avoidable errors remain and checking plagiarism before publishing. You will also research to verify fact accuracy and identify incorrect claims for immediate elimination.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles, mentor and guide writers to refine and boost their quality, output, and performance, and ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the NASCAR division.

You will have the highest authority when it comes to all content created for millions of readers. We value inherent skills and talent but believe intent, attitude, and passion matter more than anything else.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Research to verify fact accuracy.
  • Publish articles in a timely fashion.
  • Mentor and guide writers.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
