Job Posting:

Seeking a highly skilled Japanese Language Expert to provide top-notch language services for our organization. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Japanese and English, as well as certification in the JLPT - N1 Test.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating and interpreting various documents and communications from Japanese to English and vice versa. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong translation and interpreting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality translations and interpretations of Japanese documents and communications
  • Assist in editing and proofreading translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective language strategies
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance language skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. languages, linguistics, international business)
  • Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or industry
  • Certification in the JLPT - N1 Test
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA or Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of other languages
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
