Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This role involves maintaining the operational efficiency of test cell utility systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The position requires performing repairs and maintenance tasks under moderate supervision.

The responsibilities of this position include:

Safety and Maintenance: Adhering to safe work practices and taking initiative to prevent accidents. Evaluating work for potential safety risks and prioritizing projects accordingly.

Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnosing issues in malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools. Locating the cause of breakdowns and implementing corrective actions.

Preventive Maintenance: Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and documenting all activities.

Mechanical Equipment Handling: Managing daily mechanical equipment breakdowns related to engine test cells, lab equipment, utilities, and distribution systems.

Inventory Management: Procuring materials and managing inventory levels.

Team Initiatives: Participating in team-based projects like TBWS.

Contractor Management: Supervising contractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

5S and Safety Guidelines: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines.

Software Utilization: Leveraging software to track, assign, and prioritize maintenance work, as well as building management systems.

Cross-functional Work: Performing cross-functional tasks to complete repairs within capabilities.

Training and Development: Attending training programs and making progress necessary to build basic skills and knowledge required to pass local certification.

Improvement Projects: Participating in improvement projects and applying problem-solving techniques individually or as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with test cell facility equipment like ACS, CCU, CAC, Dyno, and industrial utilities like chillers, HVAC, CNG.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
