**Job Overview**

As a Financial Reporting Specialist at Aditya Birla Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information. This position requires 5-8 years of experience as a CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
  • Present financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage the consolidation of financial data from various business units, subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
  • Implement and maintain consolidation systems and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and eliminate any discrepancies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
  • Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, support, and manage external audits conducted by independent auditors.
  • Ensure proper documentation during the audit process.
  • Address audit findings, prepare plans to mitigate risks identified, and implement corrective actions to strengthen financial controls and reporting.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements in the renewable energy industry.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry-specific regulations and adapt reporting processes accordingly.
  • Continuously assess and improve financial reporting and consolidation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and automation tools to streamline reporting procedures.
  • Work with the team on automation of financial systems.
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather input and provide guidance on budget adherence.

  • CA with 5-8 years of experience.
