Job Opportunity: Lead Biostatistician in Clinical Research

About the Role:

• Seeking a highly skilled Lead Biostatistician to lead our team in developing and implementing statistical methodologies for clinical research studies.
• The successful candidate will provide expert consultation to projects across the company, solving complex statistical problems and ensuring the scientific integrity of research projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead Biostatistician on one or more study projects, directing the work of Biostatisticians, Associate Biostatisticians, and SAS programmers.
• Provide technical review of proposed statistical design for research studies and participate in statistical process development and improvement.
• Develop and implement statistical methods and programs to analyze and display study data, and present at statistical conferences.
• Lead project teams in the development of study analysis plans and statistical programs, ensuring accurate results and maintaining high standards.
• Keep abreast with current statistical and medical literature to ensure adoption of sound methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD is expected but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research, strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, and expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
