Automotive Seating Design Expert

  • This is a key position in our automotive seating design department.
  • You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative seating solutions for clients.
  • Our ideal candidate has a strong background in CAD software, particularly CATIA.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to interpret and apply specifications and guidelines while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new seating concepts and improve existing ones.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings of seating components using CAD software.
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including customer feedback, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure all designs comply with regulatory standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of experience in automotive seating design or development.
  • Proficient in CAD software, specifically CATIA.
  • Strong understanding of materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply specifications and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
  • Knowledge of computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools and simulation software.
  • Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
