Technical Lead

We are looking for a seasoned technical leader to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge mobile applications. As a Mobile Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and take ownership of the systems behind our Mobile App and Point of Sale software.
You will drive architectural solutions collaboratively with your team and engineering leadership to build and scale our mobile products. Additionally, you will write production code regularly as a core contributor while maintaining oversight of your team's technical deliverables.
You will own operational excellence for your team's systems including monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements. Furthermore, you will champion modern development practices, actively utilizing LLMs within your team and promoting the adoption of technical best practices.
We require someone with extensive experience in solution design for complex features within mobile apps, who has worked with applications used at scale or which were mission critical to their customer. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable writing production React Native code, and have prior experience with payment or mobile banking solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Proficiency in React Native for cross-platform mobile development
- Knowledge of modern GraphQL-based APIs and optimized frontend data storage capabilities
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Segment
- Understanding of serverless, event-driven system architecture running on AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform) and high coverage of unit, integration, and system tests built with GitHub Actions
