Job Title: Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated developer to join our agile team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of distributed systems, experience with continuous integration and delivery environments, and a proven track record of building scalable web applications using Java.

You will serve as a core member of an agile team, driving user story analysis and elaboration, designing and developing responsive web applications, performing hands-on software development, refactoring code, and delivering continuous improvement.

You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and frontend engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems.

  • Design and build integration components and interfaces in collaboration with senior engineers, architects, and infrastructure engineers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
  • Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of work experience in software development.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in Java, demonstrating good knowledge.
  • A good attitude, communication skills, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • Experience working with Java 11 and above, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, and Node.js is a plus.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing is a plus.
