Job Overview:

At our organization, we're seeking a seasoned Firmware Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge audio codec solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and technical excellence, this role requires an expert in low-level firmware design and implementation, leveraging their expertise in Rust programming and embedded systems.


The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with C/C++ for embedded system development, as well as in-depth knowledge of various audio codecs such as AAC, MP3, SBC, Opus, Dolby, FLAC, and PCM. Additionally, they should be proficient in debugging tools like JTAG and GDB, version control using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.


This critical position involves collaborating closely with hardware, DSP, and system teams to ensure seamless integration of audio codecs into target platforms. The successful engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware modules for audio codec drivers, implementing low-level firmware in Rust for real-time audio pipelines, and minimizing memory consumption while ensuring high performance and reliability.
