Responsibilities

  • Review Business Requirement Documents, Technical Design Documents, Data Models, and Source-to-Target Mapping documents to identify testing needs.
  • Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Data, Test Cases, and Test Scripts based on these documents.
  • Maintain test cases in a test management system and track defects in JIRA.
  • Provide regular test reports and status updates to stakeholders and discuss roadblocks as needed.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for defects and provide solutions when required.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in business, development, release, and project management.

Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years in Data/Reporting/Dashboard testing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ETL processes, relational database design methods, and SCD. Expertise in writing queries in AWS Athena for data validation is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should be able to analyze and write testing cases based on ETL specifications/source-to-target mapping and perform automated regression testing in all non-production environments.

Compensation and Benefits
