Ecommerce Application Developer

A seasoned Java technologist is needed to lead the development and customization of e-commerce applications using a packaged solution.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the application's runtime framework and architecture, as well as hands-on experience with multiple sub-systems, including catalog, order, member, marketing, and promotion.
The successful applicant will be able to integrate the application with various third-party systems, such as content management systems, order management systems, and product information management systems.
In addition, the technologist should have strong programming skills in Java technologies, including JSP, Servlets, JSTL, REST Services, JDBC, and Spring Frameworks.
A strong understanding of supported databases, such as Oracle/DB2, is also required.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing e-commerce applications.
- Strong understanding of HCL Commerce packaged solution and its features.
- Ability to analyze and implement complex software upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server tools, certificate management, and application security.
- Understanding of high availability, failover, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
