Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Financial Accountant is to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. This involves preparing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, and analyzing financial data.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and maintaining accurate financial records. This includes handling end-to-end accounts, overseeing payroll processing, and supporting internal and external audits.

Additionally, the Financial Accountant will prepare and submit financial reports to management, offering insights and analysis to support decision-making. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements and conduct financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle end-to-end accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management, offering insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Financial Accountant must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Additionally, they must have 4-6 years of accounting experience in the IT industry.

They should also possess the following skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
