About the Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, conducting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the academic and professional development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in physics.
• Develop and update curriculum to meet academic standards.
• Supervise and mentor students in academic research, projects, and thesis work.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in conferences.
• Engage in departmental and institutional activities, including academic advising, seminars, and workshops.
• Contribute to grant writing, funding acquisition, and interdepartmental collaborations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Ph.D. in Physics from a recognized institution.
• Qualified in UGC NET.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience in designing interdisciplinary courses or programs is highly valued. Additionally, expertise in experimental or computational physics and proven success in securing research grants can be beneficial.
