Job Title: Senior Wordpress and PHP Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress & PHP Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable web solutions using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Build dynamic and responsive websites.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
  • Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure robust, secure, and high-quality applications.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred).
  • Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards, and website performance optimization.
